ELECTRONIC FEASIBILITY
Electronic feasibility work is undertaken to establish a suitable system configuration and consider how user interfaces, power and drive train requirements can be integrated into the design. This includes research into suitable components, systems, and processes that will allow the proposed electronic system to meet the requirements of Manufacture and project specification.
This process typically results in a proposed development pathway, along with an assessment of the implications on ongoing development and production costs.​
PROOF OF CONCEPT ELECTRONICS
The initial stages of an electronic development project often use proof of concept electronic prototypes and evaluation boards to prove out basic system functionality before integrating into a full Prototype.This can consist of desktop rigs that allow electronic control of mechanical hardware to independently test specific features or systems.
This allows us to test a range of different electronic hardware and electronic firmware to refine functionality and develop intuitive user interfaces.​​​​


HARDWARE & FIRMWARE DEVELOPMENT
We are able to complete manufacture ready electronics, using our own in-house team and trusted electronics manufacturing partners. This means we ensure consistency from Concept Design through to design for manufacture.

Production-ready PCBA's, firmware, connectivity and wiring looms allow for full system integration and validation testing of key mechanical / electronic functionality. Our in house team ensures that bespoke electronics are fully complaint with regulations and designed with manufacturability in mind.

At Duku, we design custom PCB layouts that meet our clients' specific design requirements, enhancing both performance and manufacturability.
What is firmware?
Firmware is software that provides basic machine instructions that allow electronics hardware to function and communicate with other software running on a device.
Do Duku design apps?
We are experts at designing physical products. If an electronic product we are developing would benefit from an app, we can work with you to design the layout and functionality of an app, and guidance on aesthetics. We don't currently design and develop apps in-house. Although we are happy to work with a company of your choice to help them develop an app which can make your product function.
