CAD VISUALISATION

Duku offer CAD Visualisation services suitable for creating professional product presentations and 3D CAD Animations, allowing you to maximise the impact of your invention idea without incurring the cost of comprehensive design and development.

This approach is ideal for clients looking to secure further investment in their invention ideas, or for those wanting to create high quality product presentations explaining the product and it’s functions.

CAD FOR PROTOTYPING

Our CAD engineering services are dedicated to enhancing product functionality, styling, and assembly through the use of advanced 3D Computer Aided Design software. Our iterative approach allows for the exploration and development of product details, the interaction of components, and an effective manufacturing strategy.

3D CAD models created during this process facilitate the development of virtual and physical prototypes which allow real-world evaluation of product performance. Feedback from prototypes is integrated into the CAD modelling process to guarantee optimal design solutions for our clients.

DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE

Duku's product designers and partner manufacturing companies have extensive experience in design for manufacture (DFM). Our CAD Engineering is completed with manufacturing and production feasibility in mind from the start.

Our CAD design for manufacture (DFM) focuses on pre-production design refinement, resolving and optimising design details for the chosen injection moulding or tooling strategy to ensure a cost effective manufacturing approach for our clients.

CAD ENGINEERING FAQs

What is CAD Engineering?

CAD stands for Computer-Aided Design. CAD engineering uses computer software to create digital 3D models of products. These models can be used for a variety of purposes, including design visualisation, prototyping, engineering analysis and manufacturing.

Why Is CAD Engineering Important?

CAD engineering is important because it allows our expert product designers to design and develop products more efficiently and effectively for our clients. CAD software allows us to visualise your product, develop mechanical features and product styling so that designers and clients can analyse, understand and develop the design before building prototypes.

Do I need a CAD model, I just want a prototype?

CAD allows us to explore features in 3D, ensuring that parts are big enough, strong enough and will fit correctly. It is almost impossible to create a prototype without 3D CAD, as almost every manufacturer will use CAD in some way to create a prototype.

I already have a CAD model can you use that?

We’re committed to ensuring your product is as refined and production-ready as possible. To meet manufacturing requirements and tolerance standards, we may need to rework or completely rebuild CAD models. This ensures the design is not only high-quality but also optimised for efficient and accurate production by our manufacturing partners.
