INNOVATIVE PRODUCT IDEA
Our client, an experienced Osteopath, wanted to create a product to provide support whilst enabling a range of lower back movements allowing optimal rotation. The Class 1 medical product was developed to contain a series of different sized support pads that would allow it to comfortably support the user.

ERGONOMIC DESIGN
An organic aesthetic created a visual link with the human spine. 3D CAD was used to develop the size and shape of the support ribs before CNC machined prototypes were created to test their shape, strength and arrangement. EVA foam pads were introduced to provide additional comfort on the main contact points.​

A crowdfunding campaign raised over £20,000 to fund the tooling for the project. The product is now available to purchase via numerous retail partners including Amazon.
