The anti-bacterial shelf
Sometimes simple ideas are the best; inspiration came from having nowhere to leave a drink in gyms and sports venues if you needed the loo! Seeing not only a practical solution, but a marketing opportunity, Ledgemate was born to provide somewhere to put a drink, but also create an advertising location for venues to profit from.
Going one step further, an anti-bacterial additive was moulded into the parts to ensure the product prevented the spread of germs and viruses. The advertising panel could also be used in the fight against Covid-19 by reminding people to wash their hands and provide a place for hand sanitiser.
The final design includes a lockable advertisement panel, optional hook for bags/coats and is created from a single main part, saving production cost. The product is now in use in gyms, sports venues, cafes and public spaces throughout the country.
