ANDREW AYLESBURY

Director

Andrew graduated from Coventry University achieving a 1st in Automotive Design (MDes) after studying Transport and Product Design as an undergraduate.

Following University, Andrew helped launch one of the world’s first electric sports cars for an automotive manufacturer where he solidifed his passion for ergonomics and styling. A subsequent sales role helped him learn how to make a product commercially viable which he took into a role working for a product design consultancy before launching Duku.

Andrew doesn’t like sitting still for too long, therefore he is usually found outdoors, or trying to escape the country for various periods of time.

ALEX LEE

Director

Alex studied Transport and Product Design at Coventry University where he found his passion for problem-solving, creating novel solutions to complex problems.

Alex put this technical knowledge into use by working in-house in a variety of industries, first designing safety equipment on behalf of Stannah and a number of other well-established companies. Following this role, Alex designed high-end bespoke kitchens for several years where he continued to hone his expertise in computer-aided design and intricate sketch work, witnessing his ideas come to fruition first-hand. Much like Andrew, Alex then went into design consultancy where he was able to harness all of his skills before creating Duku.

In his spare time, Alex is often seen running around the local area or looking for his phone which he has inevitably left in a hedge.
